Feb. 18th CEPF donated environmental protection books --- "One Earth – Common Future" and "Basic Environmental Knowledge" to Daqing Street Primary School of Shanghai.
April 22nd the commonweal activity of "Lucky Earth Village" jointly organized by CEPF and Hubei TV Station was held in Great Hall of People. On the meeting, famous comperes Chen Duo and Xu Gehui were named "Green Messenger".
April 26th the initiation ceremony of the Dalinoer Project "Protecting Mother River – Green Camp of Chinese Youth Volunteers" sponsored by CEPF and Central committee of CYL and CCTV, etc. was held in Great Hall of People.
May 31st the environmental protection arts exhibition -- "Realizing Green Dreams" sponsored by CEPF and Beijing Woman Artist Sodality and Chinese Children’s Activity Center was held in China National Museum of Fine Arts.
June 25th – 29th "2000 China Resource Recycling & Technical Achievements inEnvironmental Protection and Green Products Exhibition" jointly sponsored by CEPF and the China Material Recycling Association opened in China National Military Museum.
Aug. 21st – 24th representatives from US Environmental Protection Agency and US Department of Agriculture visited CEPF.
Aug. 29th under the invitation of Central Committee of CYL, General-Secretary Xu Qinghua visited Jinan of Shandong to attend the opening ceremony of “Green Action Camp of Protecting Mother River by Asian & European Youth”, and made the special report to the Asian & European young people.
Sept. 27th "Chinese Environment Prize" organized by CEPF was initiated in Great Hall of People. Zou Jiahua, Vice Chairman of Standing Committee of NPC sent the congratulation letter for the initiation of "Chinese Environment Prize". Qu Geping, Director of Environment & Resources Protection Committee of NPC, and Wang Yuqing, Vice Director of State Administration of Environmental Protection attended the opening ceremony. The "Chinese Environment Prize" is the reward sponsored by CEPF in honor of the organizations and individuals that have made outstanding contributions to the Chinese environmental protection.
Nov. 16th Beijing Tianyuan Jinqiao Culture Co., Ltd. donated RMB 500,000 Yuan to CEPF for rewarding the organizations and individuals that gained outstanding achievements in the renovations of the new technologies, new products and new equipment for environmental protection.
Dec. 5th CEPF and Beijing Shishang Dabiao Culture & Sports Co., Ltd. signed the agreement for jointly holding the activity of passing around the "China's Green Territory". The activity propagated the knowledge of environmental protection and cultivated the sense of environmental protection of the students of primary and middle schools when they were young through denoting 1,500,000 maps of “China's Green Territory” to the primary and middle schools.
