Established in 2008, the fund aims to spend five years to initiate nation-wide advocacy on water saving, provide training on water-saving technologies and policies and finance patent application of water-saving inventions, as well as conduct academic seminars, knowledge contests and photography exhibitions focusing on the content of water resource conservation technologies, so as to improve the public awareness of water saving and water resource conservation and promote the construction of environment-friendly society.
