Initiated in March 2007, the fund provides subsidies for green initiatives of college student societies every year, with an aim of motivating and fostering the student societies’ capability building and social responsibility, encouraging the students to make contributions in building energy-saving and environment-friendly society.

　　The fund has provided subsidies for 157 student societies of 113 colleges in 31 provinces (municipality, autonomous region), more than 200,000 students are benefited from the project.
