The Project, initiated by CEPF Director Qu Geping, is a new mode of charity action integrating environmental protection and poverty relief. With the goal of once receiving aids, continuously and independently pursuing for the wealth, this project transforms from the blood-transmission mode to the blood generation mode to help poverty relief and improve environmental quality.
Through the pilot projects of financing the farmers in poverty to plant commercial crops, get equipped with environment friendly facilities and aid for their children’s study, the action aims to help the farmers in ecological adverse areas improve the water and soil balance, increase their incomes generating from the aid and raise their awareness of sustainable development.
